Ukraine Business Desk was founded by Onno den Hoed, a Dutch entrepreneur with experience in recruitment, online platforms, franchise, real estate and international cooperation. From Western Ukraine we help foreign entrepreneurs and SMEs with market scans, supplier checks, site visits and business development in Ukraine — with a focus on Western Ukraine and the Lviv region.
We verify suppliers, visit sites, speak to local parties and map opportunities, risks and practical feasibility clearly before an entrepreneur invests time, money or reputation. Our coverage runs from Lviv via Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil and Zakarpattia to Uzhhorod, just behind the EU border.
The promise is simple: we don't promise gold mountains, but an honest and transparent process with facts, photographs and usable advice — even when the advice is not to do something.
